Parker Receives 2022 MBIA Award of Excellence

The MBIA Remodeling and Custom Building Awards of Excellence Program recognizes remodeling designs and custom home builders each year as part of it’s industry commitment to excellence.  Superior construction and creative projects are selected each year with consideration for the sensitivity to the existing structure and appropriate use of the existing building elements, while being compatible with the neighborhood.  In it’s 2022 program, over 30 local builders and remodelers submitted projects for consideration.  Parker was pleased to be awarded the Award of Excellence for their “Severna Park Modern” renovation project.

The transformation of this 1961 home was incredible – taking it from a blast from the past to modern design.  This project featured an entire first floor gut and renovation along with a redesign of the first floor plan.  The kitchen was enlarged and walls were removed to make a more open space concept.  The stairwell was modernized and opened up which presents a much better entrance to the overall plan.  A new laundry room was added with plenty of space for storage, folding, and sink.  Bathrooms were modernized too with unique tile, flooring, and fixture selections along with complimentary modern cabinetry.   View the entire photo gallery and read the client story.
